Krista DiStasi: Director and Head Coach
Krista started twirling baton at the age of five.  She twirled competitively capturing Provincial, National and World Open Championship titles.  Krista is currently a certified CNBTA and TU Judge and a coach.  She has developed Provincial and National Champions over her 23 years of coaching.   Krista has traveled across Canada, United States, Holland, Belgium, Switzerland and Italy as a judge and National Team Coach. 
 
 
Bailey Pinder: SBC Level 3 Coach
Bailey twirled for 13 years before retiring in 2014.  She lives in Teeswater with her boyfriend and their young son, Carter.  Bailey has received over 500 awards and has had the honour of holding Provincial and National Championship titles.  Bailey has competed at three World Championships held in Holland, Belgium and Switzerland.  Bailey was the 2013 National X-Strut, Solo, 2-Baton and Rhythmic Twirl Champion and Senior Diamond Cup Champion.  Bailey started coaching with SBC in 2013 and she brings competitive experience and passion to her coaching.
 
 
Lauren Robb: SBC Level 2 Coach
Lauren twirled for 8 years prior to her retirement last year.    She is now completing the mill wright apprenticeship program with Linamar in Guelph.    Lauren has competed at Regional, Provincial, National and International level competitions and has received top placements at all of these competitions.   She is the 2016 Beginner X-Strut Champion and the 2016 Intermediate National X-Strut Champion.   Lauren has been a member of SBC since it started and this is her fourth year coaching.   She is very enthusiastic and passionate about the sport of baton. 
 
 
Makenzie Worton: SBC Level 2 Coach
Makenzie has been twirling for the past 7 years.   She is in grade 11 at Centre Wellington District High School in Fergus.  Makenzie has competed at Regional, Provincial, National, International and World level competitions.  She is the 2016 Intermediate Provincial and National 2Baton Champion, the 2016 Intermediate X-Strut Champion and the 2016 Provincial, National and International Duet Champion with partner, Alyssa George.   Makenzie represented Canada at the 2015 WFNBTA World Championships in Italy – her team placed 5 out of 10 Twirl Corps.   She will be attending the 2018 World Championships in Norway in March 2018 representing Canada once again.   Makenzie is a very valuable team member and talented twirler and shows her passion for this sport through her coaching.     
 
 
Alyssa George: SBC Level 1 Coach
Alyssa has been twirling for the past 7 years.   She is in grade 10 at Centre Wellington District High School in Fergus.  Alyssa has competed in numerous Regional, Provincial, National, International and World level competitions.  She is the 2016 Intermediate National 2baton Champion, and the 2016 Beginner 3 baton and Rhythmic Twirl Champion.  She is also the 2016 Provincial, National and International Duet Champion with partner, Makenzie Worton.   Alyssa represented Canada at the 2015 WFNBTA World Championships in Italy – her team placed 5 out of 10 Twirl Corps.  She too will be attending the 2018 World Championships in Norway in March 2018 representing Canada once again.  Alyssa also is a very valuable team member and talented twirler.  She is excited to start her second year of coaching with SBC this year.
